Long Island Video Fishing Forecast – April 17, 2025

Striper fishermen, the season you’ve been waiting for is here once again! And right on schedule the stripers are moving right in.in the west and moving east with the best reports coming from Raritan, Jamaica and the western North Shore harbors. Remember, the regulations this year are 1 fish per person from 28 to 31 inches. The season will also run until December 15th. On the tog, fishing is improving a lot for boats fishing the South Shore reefs and wrecks. The fish seem to be set up at a little over 100 feet deep and slightly shallower than that. A few keeper cod are mixed in with the blackfish.
